About the Role

As a Project Manager at Capgemini, you will play a critical role in delivering our Group strategy and satisfying all stakeholders. You will apply the right processes, tools, methods, and skills to manage the delivery of a project from business case through to closure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively manage risk and ensure project outcomes are delivered in line with expectations.
  • Take responsibility for successful delivery in line with relevant policies and standards by keeping a focus on outcomes, defining, monitoring, and regularly reviewing the overall plan.
  • Provide governance and oversight, establishing a framework for implementation, and working with the AE and Programme Director/PMO to establish a governance forum that is fit for purpose.
  • Regularly review and assess the project status and RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies) of the initiative, escalating via appropriate governance.
  • Act in partnership with the AE and Programme Director/PMO to engage senior leaders, maintain a focus on delivering outcomes, remove blockers, and resolve risks and issues.
  • Determine, monitor, and manage workforce and financial requirements, liaising with product and service delivery on resource requirements, supplier and vendor management, and ensuring ongoing costs and capitalization meet MTP and budget requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders across impacted businesses to lead the delivery of business readiness activities.
  • Create an environment of effective delivery by empowering the delivery team, leveraging their knowledge and expertise, learning lessons from past delivery, and allocating work across the team in a way that makes the most of their skills while maintaining a focus on outcomes.
