Senior Project Manager - Retail Fitout

Salary: up to £50,000 + car or car allowance

Location: Home based with regular travel around the South to Midlands

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and manage project teams, cultivate strong client relationships, and ensure the successful delivery of retail fitout projects. Responsibilities include developing client briefs, reviewing specifications, managing cost plans, phasing projects, overseeing project schedules, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement project plans to meet client objectives
  2. Collaborate with project teams to review scoping documents and specifications
  3. Evaluate cost plans and allocate resources for project execution
  4. Oversee design management processes and contract administration tasks
  5. Manage and monitor project schedules and phases
  6. Lead project meetings and ensure compliance with company processes
  7. Deliver projects to the highest standards, on time and within budget
  8. Provide leadership and development for project teams
  9. Drive profitability by achieving budget targets and identifying opportunities for margin improvement
  10. Ensure health and safety policies are strictly followed on-site
Requirements
  1. Background in fitout/construction/installations
  2. Retail experience highly desirable
  3. Full driving licence and based between London and the Midlands
  4. Ability to do regular travel to sites including some overnight stays
  5. Strong communication skills
  6. Excellent project management skills
  7. Strong relationship management experience
  8. Work under pressure to deadlines
  9. Experience of managing teams
  10. Health and Safety knowledge
