PRS, a fast-growing building services contractor, is seeking a Mechanical Project Director to join their team in Northampton. This exciting opportunity will involve project managing the replacement of existing end-of-life AHUs & Toilet Extract systems over a phased replacement at the client's premises.

The ideal candidate will have formal qualifications in a mechanical trade and experience as either a mechanical project manager or a mechanical contracts manager. Strong collaboration skills are required to work with various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, including designers, architects, estimating department, key account leads, project commercial teams, sub-contractors, manufacturers, specialist suppliers, client agents, commissioning teams, and high-profile customers.

This role offers a permanent position with a basic salary of between £70,000 - £75,000 per annum, travel allowance/vehicle, private healthcare, and pension. The successful candidate will be a key contributor from conception, through the design stages, managing delivery and ensuring each project is suitably resourced and closed out to the highest standards.

The Project Director will lead on projects predominantly focused on the client's premises in Northampton but may result in travel further afield as the business requires. Close collaboration with numerous stakeholders is essential to ensure each project meets the company's high standards.

A thorough understanding of mechanical trades and project management principles is necessary to excel in this role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required to manage relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
