At Chess, we're seeking a skilled Talent Coordinator to play a vital role in our People Support Team. As a key member, you'll contribute to the company's growth by ensuring our end-to-end talent attraction and onboarding process is exceptional.
This is a temporary position for a minimum of 6 months, depending on business needs. Reporting to the Head of People Support, you'll be a passionate advocate for our culture and values, driving engagement, performance, and recruiting top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize and improve the full recruitment process from advertising to onboarding to retain quality candidates.
- Proactively source high-performing talent through inclusive and fair recruitment methods, including LinkedIn.
- Search, pre-screen, and shortlist suitable candidates.
- Stay active on job boards, social networks, and platforms to find quality candidates and create job descriptions and announcements.
- Assist in writing job adverts, interview documents, and marketing materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Chess Group employees.
- Help improve the interview and recruitment assessment process.
- Develop the recruitment process to address departmental needs and skills gaps.
- Build a talent pipeline for roles within the business and ensure continuous growth.
- Promote our Employer Value Proposition across multiple platforms.
- Provide accurate and valuable recruitment information and reports to the Head of People Support.
- Maintain a database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, hired employees, and those who have left.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sourcing candidates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with team members and leaders across the group.
- Experience using LinkedIn.
- Strong communication skills to convey messages and provide feedback.
- Ability to remain calm and confident in challenging situations and under pressure.
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
