Job Summary

The Workforce Planning Support Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the Workforce Planning Business Partner in ensuring the smooth operation of workforce planning processes within the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and monitoring workforce operational requests
  • Providing timely narrative and number workforce submissions to stakeholders
  • Assisting with accurate workforce planning metrics within the Workforce Dashboard
  • Managing projects related to Workforce Planning and serving as a key point of contact for Workforce Planning enquiries

Main Duties of the Job

The post holder will work closely with the Workforce Planning Lead to develop a Workforce Planning Programme that supports the strategic and operational aims and objectives of the Trust.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and assisting with the delivery, analysis, and evaluation of relevant workforce planning and reporting
  • Working across the organisation and Derbyshire and Staffordshire Integrated Care System (ICS) to support system-wide workforce planning
