Job Overview

Horizon Care & Education Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead our Children's Homes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of daily life within our homes, enabling young people to thrive.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience of managing an Ofsted-rated 'Good' home and hold a relevant qualification in Children and Young People's Services.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus benefits and opportunities for career development through our Education Academy.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a warm and friendly home environment that provides a safe and supportive space for children and young people to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Achieve compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations and maintain high standards of care and quality.
  • Lead a team of colleagues, facilitating their professional development and ensuring they provide high-quality care and support.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience of managing an Ofsted-rated 'Good' home.
  • Hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children's and Young People's Workforce or equivalent qualification.
  • Possess excellent leadership skills and attention to detail.
