About the Role

Thermon, a leading Industrial Technology company, is seeking an experienced Project Control Specialist to join our team. This role will be based in Sunderland, England, and will involve working collaboratively with our team to ensure project success.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project controlling, with experience of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously. They will also possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

About the Job

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to take on a challenging role within our team. As a Project Control Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing project plans and ensuring timely completion of tasks;
  • Coordinating with project managers to identify potential cost overruns and schedule delays;
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of project progress;
  • Generating regular progress reports and meeting minutes;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in project controlling;
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft ERP systems (AX or D365);
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Self-motivation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
