About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Pharmacy Homecare team as a Pharmacy Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing administrative support to our clinical teams and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Homecare team, including filing, data manipulation, and minute-taking.
  • Raise orders against Homecare prescriptions and ensure timely delivery.
  • Process homecare prescriptions and invoices through the JAC pharmacy homecare management system.
  • Monitor and maintain the pharmacy database in relation to Homecare services.
  • Undertake other relevant activities as necessary to provide a quality service.
Requirements
  • 4 GCSE passes or equivalent, including English Language and Maths.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy, clinical, or medical terms and issues.
Desirable Skills
  • Previous experience of working in a large organization.
  • Experience of using a wide range of IT packages, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Experience of data entry, analysis, and report production.
