Pharmacy Dispenser Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly and successful independent online pharmacy in Milton Keynes. We are seeking a friendly and organised Pharmacy Dispenser with a passion for providing excellent customer service. Building relationships with our customers is key, and you will play an important part in meeting their unique healthcare needs and providing a supporting service to aid the Pharmacist in the dispensary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out final checking of dispensed items while adhering to our standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Supervise the pharmacy technician(s) and wider dispensary team to ensure everyone is carrying out their duties correctly.
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals to assist in the continuity of patient care across primary and secondary care.
  • Ensure that Patient Medication Records (PMRs) are maintained accurately to ensure patient safety while complying with current data protection requirements.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of medicines and minor ailments by reading journals, product information, and training resources.

Requirements
  • Must have own car
  • Must have Dispensary experience
  • DBS checked
  • Experienced in high volume dispensing, particularly MDS trays, and have their own transport and be familiar with RxWeb.
