Treasury Markets Director – Payments Fintech

Empirical Search is seeking an experienced Treasury Markets Director to join our Payments Fintech team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the Treasury strategy to manage and optimize key market risks, particularly FX risks, and excess liquidity and funding strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of two and lead the development of Treasury strategies to mitigate risks and optimize returns.
- Collaborate with the Group Treasurer and senior executives to align Treasury goals with business objectives.
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to minimize FX risks and optimize excess liquidity and funding.
- Work closely with Payments, Analytics, and Liquidity teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of Treasury initiatives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Treasury markets, with a strong track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of FX risks, liquidity management, and funding strategies.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, with a strong focus on teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
- Commitment to work in the office three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
