Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Engineering Technologist to join our Clinical Engineering team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical equipment management services to our specialist neuro clinical services.

Main Responsibilities

As a Medical Device Team Leader, you will be responsible for planning and carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance, servicing, and repair of a wide range of medical equipment. You will also be responsible for managing a team and overseeing communications with customers and suppliers. Additionally, you will be required to work in a logical and methodical approach to problem-solving and have highly developed physical skills, including manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Person Specification

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated individual with a BEng/BSc or equivalent in Engineering or Physical Science, registration as a Clinical Technologist, and extensive practical experience in Medical engineering workshop practices and techniques. You should also have broad and specialized knowledge of a wide range of medical equipment and experience of motivating and leading teams effectively.
