Are you passionate about delivering exceptional patient care? We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Clinical Support Coordinator to join our Fracture Clinic Admin team at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.

The salary for this role is £240 per week for the first 12 months, with the National Minimum Wage dependent on age for the remainder of the fixed-term contract.

About the Role

You will work in a supported learning environment to develop a working knowledge of the NHS and learn to use systems such as HISS and Nervecentre. As a Clinical Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for dealing with patients, relatives, and carers in a stressful environment both over the telephone and on a face-to-face basis.

You will actively participate in a development plan which will be regularly reviewed with the line manager and training provider, and progress to achieving the end-point assessment.

  • Work closely with medical, nursing, and administration staff to deliver a high-quality patient experience
  • Develop a working knowledge of the NHS and learn to use relevant systems
  • Deal with patients, relatives, and carers in a stressful environment
Person Specification

We are looking for someone who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and has excellent communication skills. You should have a clear understanding of confidentiality and data protection, as well as good written and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will be able to act on their own initiative and follow instructions, and have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
