About the Role:

As a Creative Community Worker, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of creative face-to-face youth and community work in an outer urban estate context. You will develop programmes that support vulnerable young people, creating increased opportunities for them to participate in our work, including leadership training, community projects, and having a greater voice in our organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering creative programmes that meet the needs of our community.
  • Building relationships with local stakeholders, partners, and communities to identify areas of need and develop solutions.
  • Collaborating with the senior management team to develop and implement programme strategies.
  • Fostering a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and social responsibility within the team.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in youth development, community work, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience of working with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality community services.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of £27,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, as well as a supportive and inclusive work environment.
