Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on assembly and fitting of mechanical components.

Responsibilities
  • Ownership of mechanical build documentation.
  • Assembly and fitting of mechanical components in-line with tight tolerances.
  • Collaboration with Electrical / Control engineers to ensure completion of the equipment build.
  • Resolution of problems relating to fit, function or design.
  • Inspection of Mechanical parts, Main Fabrications and Pressure Vessels at supplier facilities.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Time served mechanical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience within a similar role.
  • Pressure vessel testing experience is desirable.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills for successful collaboration.
  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings.
Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is £35,000-£42,000, depending on experience. Opportunities for overtime may increase the annual salary to £45,000-£50,000.

  • 4-day workweek (Monday to Thursday).
  • A Monday-Wednesday schedule of 07:30-17:30 and Thursday 07:30-17:00.
