Are you a skilled Leathercraft Specialist looking for a new challenge? EVO Personnel is currently seeking a highly experienced individual to join our team as a Leathercraft Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring furniture by applying high-quality leather, fabric, or vinyl materials.
Main Tasks- Assemble furniture components to prepare them for leatherwork.
- Apply and stitch various leather materials to cover furniture pieces.
- Operate hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and attach leather materials.
- Transport and position heavy furniture pieces safely during the leatherwork process.
- Inspect final products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Prior experience in leatherwork or a similar role in a warehouse environment.
- Mechanical knowledge and skills to operate hand tools and power tools efficiently.
- Proficiency in applying and stitching leather materials to achieve professional-looking results.
- Ability to safely lift heavy furniture pieces during the leatherwork process.
This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of £16.50 per hour, reflecting the value we place on your expertise and skills. The expected weekly hours are 38, providing a stable and rewarding work-life balance.
