Job Title: Deputy Residential Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Residential Manager to join our team at FMC Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care for children and young people aged 8 to 18 who have faced traumatic experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the home, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children are prioritized.
  • Manage safeguarding concerns, contribute to risk assessments, and implement therapeutic parenting approaches.
  • Lead a team in establishing healthy relationships with the children, advocating for their needs, and encouraging their participation in care planning.
  • Support the Registered Manager by managing the home in their absence.
Requirements:
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong commitment to promoting inclusion, equal opportunities, and the overall development of children and young people.
  • 1 year of experience in Residential Childcare.
  • Driving Licence.
