FundamentalVR is revolutionising the medical industry with its innovative surgical training platform, and we're seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced developer to build applications that support our operational and client needs, create new websites and features, develop visualisations of data captured in simulations, and maintain product delivery systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage front-end and back-end technologies to create meaningful portals and tools.
  • Develop new APIs to support and enrich the features of our simulations.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and other disciplines in the development team.
  • Participate in agile development and SCRUM.
  • Contribute to maintaining a high-quality product.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience with strong programming fundamentals and the ability to produce high-quality code.
  • Team leadership experience.
  • An interest in management and mentorship.
  • Experience with AWS, particularly Cognito, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and EC2.
  • Serverless development experience is essential.
  • Knowledge of JS Frameworks, ideally React JS.
  • Experience with Node.js and microservices.
  • A working knowledge of CI/CD.
  • An understanding of NoSQL databases and document storage, such as DynamoDB and MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of and enthusiasm for industry best practices.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, plus a range of benefits, including private healthcare, death in service insurance, enhanced maternity and paternity leave, and perks such as access to hundreds of vouchers and discounts. You'll also have the opportunity to work with VR and haptics, the next frontier of simulation and virtual reality.
