Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Galileo Global Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning and governance of all processes related to human resources management, including staff and tutors, at a local level.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the School Director in identifying human resources needs aligned with business objectives and develop strategies to meet those needs.
- Organize the research and selection of staff at local level, supporting the School Director and/or department heads in defining profiles and evaluating candidates.
- Manage the onboarding process, including managing the appraisal process, study and plan training needs to develop staff knowledge and competences at local level.
- Manage relations with external training providers, monitor training activities, and end-of-course feedback.
- Manage the monthly payroll process, ensuring compliance with local employment law and GDPR.
- Provide support for the correct handling of legal actions, aligned with local law.
- Write and update policies for Boards and committees.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
- 5+ years' experience in Human Resources.
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies.
- Demonstrated expertise in training managers and employees.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communications skills.
- Attention to detail and good judgement.
