The Role

Fisher German is seeking an experienced Assistant Financial Accountant to join our Financial Control Team based in our Head Office. This role will suit you if you have a strong background in finance and accounting, are a team player, and are driven by attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain financial control across the Fisher German Group
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts
  • Ensure a smooth year-end audit process
  • Prepare monthly consolidations
  • Control balance sheets for all group entities
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as necessary
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and tasks as required
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a financial control role
  • Strong drive to improve systems and processes
  • Exceptionally high attention to detail
  • Strong team player with ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills at various levels
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, specifically pivot tables, formulas, V-lookups, IF statements
  • Confidence with a friendly personality
  • Studying for a professional accounting qualification (desirable)
