The Role Overview

Fisher German is seeking a skilled Financial Portfolio Manager to join our Rural Client Accounts team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the financial management of a portfolio of rural clients and the properties held within their portfolios.

This role will involve specific ledger balances and associated financial transactions, with a focus on delivering high-quality financial data to clients. You will work closely with internal clients, such as asset managers and property managers, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recording of transactions
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Ensure accurate & timely processing of payments, amounts & records
  • Liaise with third party providers, clients and suppliers
  • Preparation of reports
  • Filing of VAT returns
  • Reconciliation of supplier accounts

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Propman (desired, not essential as full training will be provided)
  • An understanding of Property and Rural Accounting (desirable)
  • Previous accounts experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant or Assistant Accountant
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact and deal with surveyors/clients/third Parties
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise, with excellent time management skill
  • Strong attention to detail, be diligent and precise in how you deliver work
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
