Job Title: Factory Operative

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Factory Operative to join our team at Pertemps Northampton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating sewing machinery and equipment, with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate sewing machinery and equipment as required for the production process.
  • Assemble products or components according to specifications and work instructions.
  • Monitor the production process and report any issues or defects to the supervisor.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Work as part of a team and on an individual basis to achieve daily and weekly targets.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience using a sewing machine is advantageous.
  • Dexterous and able to work efficiently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
  • Excellent communication skills and a responsible attitude.
