We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Construction Manager to join our team at Sewell Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the pre-construction process, ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the technical, programming, and logistical detail of tenders, including evaluation of quality elements, technical input, and programme review.
  • Collaborate with estimating teams to develop tender returns, including provision of logistical and site plans.
  • Support the development of quality submissions, including detailed methodology, logistical plans, and health and safety information.
  • Manage a team and contribute to the senior leadership team calendar of findings, lessons learned, and efficiencies.
Requirements:
  • A recognised industry qualification at HNC or above in Construction.
  • Full driving licence, valid in the UK.
  • Demonstrable operational and technical construction experience and knowledge.
  • Proficiency in programming software and development of literature to clearly articulate the delivery strategy at pre-construction phase.
  • Great teamwork and customer-focused outlook with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Sound commercial understanding and risk management skills.
  • Sound knowledge of current H&S practices.
  • Be personable and a good communicator with a positive outlook.
  • Great organisational skills, capable of delivering up to four like-for-like schemes running simultaneously.
  • Flexible in approach, with the ability to support the wider operational departments within the business.
