Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational support to young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified SEN Tutor to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people. You will be responsible for delivering Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality educational support to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
  • Plan and deliver engaging and holistic sessions that meet the needs of each young person
  • Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on the young person's progress

Requirements

  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
  • You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / online assignments
