We are on a mission to revolutionize the quality of education provided to young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND), as well as other needs such as Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). Our goal is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN / SEND Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a SEN / SEND Tutor, you will work with young people with a variety of learning needs, providing Maths, English, or Science tuition in a creative, flexible, and holistic manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one tutoring to young people with SEN and SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the needs of each young person
  • Work collaboratively with our SEN / SEND Support Team to ensure a holistic approach to supporting young people
  • Contribute to the development of resources and best practices within the team
Requirements
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEN, SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Ability to work in a way that promotes the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people
