Transforming Education for Vulnerable Young People

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN/SEND Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and support to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), and other Additional Educational Needs.

Our mission is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK. We believe that every child deserves access to quality education, and we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment that enables them to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each young person
  • Work collaboratively with our SEN/SEND Support Team to ensure seamless support and progress for each young person
  • Conduct regular progress reviews and provide feedback to young people, parents, and carers
Requirements:
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
  • You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online assignments
