Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to join our Senior Leadership team and drive the operational growth of our business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coaching a diverse team, with a technical background and experience in managing developers, engineers, and customer support.
The Operations department encompasses Project Delivery, Customer Training, Helpdesk, Customer Success, DevOps, and Product Development, with opportunities for closer collaboration and improved working practices.
The Operations Director will work closely with the business founders and senior leadership team to develop a new operational strategy, focusing on increasing quality, efficiency, productivity, customer retention, and market share.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and implementing operational and quality improvements
- Reviewing existing challenges and forecasting projected challenges, developing strategies to mitigate negative impact to the business
- Continuously monitoring performance, regularly reporting achieved and expected revenue from new and existing clients
- Providing input on business strategies and other leadership initiatives
- Assisting the Customer Success team with Key Accounts, escalations, and supporting the sales team with bids when required
- Managing the Delivery/Implementation team with the support of the team leader, assisting with customer onboarding and training where required
- Supporting the Delivery/Implementation team on large projects with key clients, ensuring a smooth transition to the platform & services, emphasizing the potential value and ROI
- Conducting regular 1-2-1's, appraisals, coaching & training sessions, and preparing PDPs, ensuring each individual's capabilities grow within the business
The ideal candidate will be strategic, logical, and commercially minded, with experience developing and implementing strategies and processes with a focus on driving business revenue and profitability.
