Job Overview

The Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a highly skilled professional to support the implementation of the ACCEND framework across its cancer services.

This role requires a senior nurse or Allied Health Professional with expertise in training, competency, and skills development. The post holder will work closely with Lead nurses and Line managers to identify training needs and plan education and training programs for the clinical workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct strategic Training Needs Analysis to identify skill gaps and requirements.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive education and training plans using internal and external resources.
  • Provide expert advice, knowledge, guidance, and support to clinicians to enhance care provision across the Trust's cancer services.
  • Mentor and coach cancer clinicians to embed the ACCEND framework.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with NMC registration or Allied Health Professional with HCPC registration.
  • Holds a relevant degree in a health-related subject or relevant work experience.
  • Experience at senior level (band 6) with evidence of contribution to developing nursing practice or education and training.
  • Change management and project management skills and experience.

Estimated Salary Range: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
