About the Role
Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim Strategic Finance Business Partner to join the HRA team delivering outstanding housing services to the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive review of the HRA 30-year business plan to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Review and enhance the Medium-Term Financial Strategy to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
- Provide strategic financial advice and support to senior management, including developing and implementing financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance and collaborate with various departments to ensure financial alignment with organisational goals.
Requirements
- CIMA, CIPFA, ACCA or ACA qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years' experience in Housing Finance within a council, including HRA 30 Business Plan at a senior level.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a high level of proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.

This is a 100% remote role for circa 6 months.
