We are seeking a skilled registered nurse with excellent interpersonal skills and sound clinical assessment skills to join our team as a Clinical Skills Facilitator. As a key member of our Neighbourhood Nursing Team, you will work collaboratively with the Practice Educator to develop, maintain and support learning, development and growth within our teams using evidence-based practice.
Main DutiesAs a Clinical Skills Facilitator, you will:
- Work in close collaboration with all members of the Neighbourhood Nursing Teams to provide comprehensive, evidence-based practice.
- Assess the quality of a range of practice learning environments and determine interventions to sustain and enhance practice education.
- Support and facilitate the development of clinical supervisors, assessors and preceptors, providing supervision and support structures in order to build education in practice capability, consistency and efficiency.
- Contribute to the development of education programmes, contribute to development, validate and review through an annual quality review.

We are looking for a registered nurse with the following qualifications and experience:
- Registered Nurse on Part 1 of the Nursing Midwifery Council register.
- Recognised degree in Nursing/Community pathway.
- District Nursing qualification/Community Practitioner pathway or willingness to commence within 1 year of starting.
- Evidence of further study.
- Mentorship or training qualification.
- Introduction to teaching qualification/Practice Teacher qualification or willingness to work towards.
