Job Description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Paediatrician to join our team at Medway Community Healthcare. As a key member of our community healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have extensive experience working in community paediatrics and will be able to demonstrate excellent clinical skills, leadership abilities, and communication skills. You will be responsible for managing complex cases, providing medical advice to allied health professionals, and contributing to the development of clinical policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing complex cases and providing medical advice to allied health professionals
  • Contributing to the development of clinical policies and procedures
  • Leading multidisciplinary teams and providing supervision and support to less experienced doctors
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based practice in the field of neurodevelopmental and neurodisability
  • Ensuring compliance with national guidelines and developing collection and use of outcome measures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

MRCP or MRCPCH by examination or equivalentFull GMC registrationExperience in community paediatricsExcellent clinical skills, leadership abilities, and communication skills
