Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Skills Facilitator. In this role, you will work closely with our Practice Educator to develop, maintain, and support learning, development, and growth within our Neighbourhood Nursing Teams using evidence-based practice.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Practice Educator to develop and implement education programs, ensuring comprehensive and evidence-based practice.
  • Assess the quality of practice learning environments and determine interventions to sustain and enhance practice education.
  • Support and facilitate the development of clinical supervisors, assessors, and preceptors, providing supervision and support structures.
  • Contribute to the development of quality measures and participate in clinical audit, implementing change in clinical practice.

Person Specification

  • Registered Nurse on Part 1 of the Nursing and Midwifery Council register or Registered Paramedic with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Recognised degree in Nursing or Community pathway.
  • District Nursing qualification or willingness to commence within 1 year of starting.
  • Evidence of further study, mentorship, or training qualification.
