About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team at SPOKE. As a key member of our Production team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering our quarterly collections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Seasonal Costing and Delivery Schedule: Set up and manage the seasonal costing and delivery schedule to ensure timely and accurate delivery of collections.
  • Critical Path Management: Manage the Critical Path, chasing suppliers for weekly reports, conducting bi-weekly meetings with suppliers, and updating the Critical Path accordingly.
  • Issue Flagging and Resolution: Flag any issues in real-time and propose resolutions to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption to production.
  • PO Distribution and Invoice Approval: Distribute approved Purchase Orders to Suppliers and approve invoices as they come in, matching to Purchase Orders and flagging any reconciliation issues.
  • Fabric and Greige Orders: Place fabric and greige orders where required, ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruption to production.
  • Trim Stock Management: Manage trim stocks to ensure availability and control liability, minimizing waste and excess inventory.
  • Costing and Margin Review: Collaborate with the Head of Production to review costings and ensure target margin is achieved.
  • Freight Forwarder Liaison: Liaise with the freight forwarder to arrange shipment bookings and monitor deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of collections.
  • Weekly Intake and Delay Reporting: Report on weekly intake and communicate any delays across the business, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to production.
  • Running Liability and Stock Takes: Manage running liability and conduct yearly stock takes, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimal waste.
Requirements
  • Production or Project Management Experience: 5 years of experience in a similar production or project management role, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Supply Chain Management: Proven track record working with complex supply chains, ideally in Europe, Turkey, and the Far East, with a strong understanding of supplier relationships and negotiation techniques.
  • Communication and People Skills: Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: High proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, with a willingness to learn new systems as required.
  • Analytical Skills: A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Menswear Experience: Experience in Menswear is useful but not necessary.
