Operations Manager

Our client, an award-winning bakery, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and controlling the operation of the bakery, ensuring excellent customer service, maximised sales, and minimised costs.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Bakery Manager in recruiting, inducting, training, managing, motivating, reviewing, and developing a team of motivated and engaged employees.
- Plan, monitor, and review bakery staffing levels to ensure the appropriate staff coverage, including supervisory/management at all times.
- Ensure that products are consistently prepared, cooked, and presented to the approved standard and within a clean, safe, and tidy bakery at all times.
- Implement, monitor, and review policies and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety and H&S legislation.
- Assist the Bakery Manager in monitoring, reviewing, and delivering standards of performance.
- Plan, forecast, manage, control, and review sales to ensure targets are met as a minimum and exceeded wherever possible.
