Job Summary:

Staffline Operations is seeking a highly skilled Quality Controller to join our team. As a Quality Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality control checks on materials, packaging, and production equipment to ensure they meet agreed specifications.
  • Record specification results on relevant inspection reports and inform the technical department of any non-conformances.
  • Complete weekly quality attribute sheets for finished products and perform calibration checks on metal detectors and other equipment.
  • Inform management of any problems with raw materials, machinery, equipment, or finished products.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area and perform daily hygiene inspections.
  • Complete and review production paperwork and identify potential issues to inform management in a timely manner.
  • Conform to Health & Safety guidelines and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 qualifications in HACCP and Food Safety & Hygiene.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
