We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investigation Officer to join our team at the Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust. As an Investigation Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting investigations and employee relations cases that adopt a compassionate practice ethos and are undertaken in line with the All Wales Disciplinary and Respect and Resolution Policies.
Your responsibilities will include conducting disciplinary investigations, writing reports, and presenting at hearings and appeals. You will also work closely with colleagues, managers, and trade union partners to foster a culture of positive employee relations.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in HR, employee relations, or a related field, with a proven track record of conducting investigations and providing coaching and mentoring to colleagues. If you have a passion for creating a safe and respectful work environment, we encourage you to apply.
Main Duties- Conduct disciplinary investigations and write reports
- Present at hearings and appeals
- Work closely with colleagues, managers, and trade union partners to foster positive employee relations
- Provide coaching and mentoring to colleagues
We are looking for someone with:
- Masters level of knowledge and demonstrable experience in HR, employee relations, or a related field
- Experience of conducting disciplinary investigations and presenting at hearings and appeals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
