About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Female Maritime Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a key member of our security team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their assets.

As a Female Maritime Security Officer, you will be responsible for conducting active patrols, thorough searches, and inspections to detect and deter suspicious activity. You will also maintain accurate records and provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and guests.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Active Patrols: Regularly patrol designated areas to detect and deter suspicious activity.
  • Thorough Searches: Conduct detailed cab and body searches, following our comprehensive company policies and procedures.
  • Inspections: Perform thorough baggage searches to identify and remove prohibited or suspicious items.
  • Detailed Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork related to security incidents and observations.
  • Effective Communication: Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and various external authorities to report incidents and coordinate responses to security issues.
  • Exceptional Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and guests with professionalism and courtesy.

Essential skills and qualifications include:

  • The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year history including education and/or employment.
  • A clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle (there is free parking on site).
  • A valid SIA licence (training will be provided if necessary).
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and demonstrate proficiency in both written and verbal English.
  • A friendly and professional approach to create a welcoming atmosphere and provide top-notch customer service.
  • Physical capability to perform body and cab searches, including climbing into and out of lorry cabs.
