About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Female Relief Officer to play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for regularly patrolling designated areas to detect and deter suspicious activity, ensuring all areas are secure and adhering to established security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough cab and body searches in accordance with company policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized items from entering restricted areas
  • Perform meticulous baggage searches to identify and remove any prohibited or suspicious items, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols
  • Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork related to security incidents, observations and actions taken during shifts, ensuring all documentation is detailed and organized
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues, supervisors and relevant stakeholders to report incidents, share information and coordinate responses to security-related issues
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors and guests, assisting with inquiries, directions and any security-related concerns in a professional and courteous manner

Essential Skills:

  • Full clean driving license and access to your own vehicle
  • RTW and 5 year history including education and/or employment
  • Flexible to work early and late shifts and working nights and weekends
  • Must be proficient in the English language, both spoken and written
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to physically carry out body and cab searches, including climbing into and out of a lorry cab

Desirable:

  • SIA license
