Join Active Care Group Recruitment as a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist and be part of a renowned centre for complex neurorehabilitation.

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic therapist to join our supportive therapy team at the Blackheath Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit in London.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with neurology, neuropsychiatry, neuropsychology, nursing, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, and social workers to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Deputising for the Lead Occupational Therapist when required.
  2. Assisting the MDT in diagnosis, problem formulation, and planning of rehabilitation programmes.
  3. Functioning as a Key Worker/Named Therapist to ensure active coordination and management of the therapeutic programme.
  4. Playing a key role in planning safe discharges.
  5. Prescribing and providing equipment for patients during their rehabilitation journey.
  6. Maintaining records and clinical notes in line with company policy and RCOT guidelines.
  7. Developing and delivering in-service education and training programmes for the wider MDT.
  8. Supervising junior members of staff.
