About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at the Lydiard House Hotel and Park. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes to the highest standards, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
  • Lead a team of chefs to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the hotel's events team to deliver bespoke catering solutions for conferences, weddings, and other events.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a senior chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
