Join Danaher Corporation as a Field Service Engineer and be part of a team that provides new solutions to transform human health. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting revenue growth by identifying and submitting qualified leads, while maintaining relationships and representing Cytiva at customer sites. You will perform work on customer instruments while following all EHS & Quality procedures. This position requires flying and/or driving travel, which may potentially include up to 50% overnight stays. Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally be international. Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform installation, qualification, routine maintenance, and repairs of instruments at customer sites.
  2. Responsible for administrative tasks of scheduling service, completing documentation, and maintaining inventory.
  3. Engage as part of a wider customer-facing team including but not limited to Customer Care, Service Sales, and Account Managers.

Requirements:

  1. Background in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electronics, or any related STEM experience. This can come from a Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, military experience, or an equivalent technical education or professional experience.
  2. Outstanding communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to provide an exceptional internal or external customer experience.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

This position requires flying and/or driving travel, which may potentially include up to 10% overnight stays. Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
