Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centered care to residents, following their individual care plans and preferences.
  • Assist with personal care duties, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Conduct regular observation checks to ensure residents' safety and hygiene.
  • Participate in activities and events to promote residents' engagement and entertainment.
  • Ensure the safe use of moving and handling equipment, including hoists, slide sheets, and rotundas.
  • Oversee the health and safety of residents under your care.
  • Perform basic cleaning duties, adhering to cleaning rotas and safety procedures.
Working Hours
  • 07:00 to 14:30
  • 14:30 to 22:00
  • 07:00 to 22:00
Pay Rate
  • £11.44 per hour for hours worked between 07:00 to 19:00
  • £15.22 per hour for hours worked between 19:00 to 07:00
Requirements
  • 2 years of professional referencing, including 1 from your most recent employer.
  • In-date mandatory training certificates, including Practical moving and handling training.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 4 months or registered on the update service.
  • Minimum of 12 months paid UK work experience working within a care home or nursing home setting.
  • Full, up-to-date CV with a minimum of 5 years of employment history.
