Senior Support Worker – Pirton Grange, Worcester

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at Pirton Grange, Worcester. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support a team of Support Workers to ensure the delivery of excellent care and support to our clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote independence, choice, and community inclusion for our clients.
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions and appraisals with the Support Worker team to ensure they are equipped to provide the best possible care.
  • Coordinate scheduled activities and appointments for our clients, including planning transport and budgets.
  • Support and assist clients with their personal care, maintaining their privacy and dignity at all times.
  • Encourage clients to develop proactive strategies to maintain their emotional wellbeing and mental health.
  • Monitor absence and sickness of the Support Worker team and follow Absence Policy procedures.
  • Recruit and induct new team members to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year experience of supporting individuals with mental health needs.
  • Good basic comprehension of English language, including basic literacy and numerical skills.
  • Ongoing commitment to personal development and training.
  • Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
