About the Role:

This is a leadership role where you will oversee a team of staff, providing guidance, supervision, and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality services. You will work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure the team is aware of risk and takes steps to mitigate it. Your goal will be to empower staff to promote hope, empowerment, and opportunities for service users to reach their full potential.

About You:

  • You will have a degree-level education or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • You will have knowledge and experience of developing and leading health and social care services, including delivering services that meet high performance and quality standards.
  • You will have significant experience of leading teams who work with families where children are subject to social care intervention.
  • You will have knowledge of current legislation surrounding children, young people, and safeguarding practice.
  • You will be able to lead, inspire, and develop a team.
  • You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to use common MS Office applications.
