Legal Account Assistant

We are searching for a highly skilled Derbyshire Finance Assistant to join our finance team in Derby, UK. This role will contribute to the firm's ambitious growth plans.

About the Position:
  • Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Main Tasks:
  1. Process financial transactions and manage bills
  2. Handle disbursement invoices and payments
  3. Post court fee statements and HMLR statements to matters
  4. Authorise online banking payments
  5. Perform daily banking duties
  6. Allocate funds to client matters promptly
  7. Prepare bank reconciliations
  8. Process card payments over the phone
  9. Support the team with other tasks and projects
Essential Skills:
  1. Possess strong IT skills and be able to learn new systems quickly
  2. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  3. Experience with online banking systems
  4. Ability to work effectively in a team and be adaptable
