Studio Manager

Are you a highly organized and self-motivated professional looking for a part-time role at a dynamic design studio in Shoreditch, London? We're seeking a Studio Manager to join our team for three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the smooth operation of the office, including reception duties, email correspondence, filing, and supplier liaison.
  • Keep the studio calendar and office database updated and ensure the office remains tidy.
  • Handle HR administration, including staff development, office events, visa sponsorship, office policies, recruitment, contracts, and new staff inductions.
  • Manage financial tasks, including reconciling accounts, managing invoice payments, maintaining client payment and expense records, handling payroll, and liaising with accountants regarding VAT and pensions.
  • Take charge of communications, updating the website and social media channels, preparing award submissions, liaising with press and media, and assisting with photography.
  • Provide project support as needed as a PA to the principal.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency with Apple OS, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite (especially InDesign and Photoshop), and Xero accounting software.
  • Experience in Datamolino and WordPress is a plus.
