About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our multidisciplinary team at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in leading the team to achieve clinical excellence, patient safety, and regulatory assurance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and professional leadership to the team, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Use advanced clinical skills to support and advise on service development and the delivery of evidence-based care in partnership with service users, carers, staff, managers, and other agencies.
  • Support the development of clinical competencies and lead on clinical supervision, audits, and investigations.
  • Collaborate with the locality matron and Complex Care Nurse to achieve clinical excellence and patient safety.

Requirements

  • Effective inter-personal skills and experience in supervising and mentoring.
  • Able to demonstrate effective communication skills and lead/motivate staff to embrace change.
  • Non-medical prescribing - V300 (desirable).
  • Teaching and mentoring qualification (desirable).
  • Evidence of advanced practice skills and ability to demonstrate the impact on practice change/development.
  • Leadership/management experience with a positive impact on service delivery/practice.
  • Sound post-registration professional practice and continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the clinical area.
