Key Responsibilities:
• Support service users in achieving their goals and living a full life based on their individual support plans.
• Safeguard the well-being and protect from harm of our service users wherever possible, promoting health and safety regulations and maintaining professional boundaries.
• Foster positive relationships with service users, offering emotional support and maintaining a person-centred approach when needed.
• Enable participation in social activities and services, manage finances, medication, and practical tasks around the home, and provide respectful personal care and hygiene support.
• Serve as an informal point of contact for family members, social workers, and others within the service user's support network, accurately reporting and recording any concerns related to service user care and support.
Key Requirements:
• Uphold organisational policies and procedures, ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the team.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection guidelines, upholding the trust placed in us by our service users and stakeholders.
We welcome individuals without prior care experience, focusing on values-based recruitment. The ideal candidate will remain positive in challenging situations, positively influencing service user well-being.
