Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is £12.58 per hour rising to £12.69 after probation. We also offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for further learning with our excellent apprenticeship scheme, opportunity for overtime, free meals and parking while on duty, regular coaching and appraisal, expert supervision and peer support, employee discount savings and "Cycle to Work" scheme, and free uniform.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will work alongside a first class multi-disciplinary team, including Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychiatrists and Mental Health Nurses. Your day-to-day tasks will include offering enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care, working on all 3 of our wards, providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support, learning about individuals' specific needs and providing help in the most appropriate way, assisting with medical and welfare needs, reporting on medical and welfare needs as required, safeguarding, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for all.
Required Skills and QualificationsWe are looking for candidates who are genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in people's lives, excellent communicators and good team players, sensitive and intuitive with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating and varied environment, and passionate about empowering and supporting service user independence.
