The Role

We are seeking an experienced AV Support Specialist to join our team at UAL. As an AV Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support for our academic learning activities, including the installation and operation of AV equipment.

About the Role

This is a full-time, site-based role that requires flexibility to support the delivery of academic learning activities across our three colleges. You will work to a rota to ensure operational delivery as required and may be required to work flexible hours to support after-hours events.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide responsive on-demand technical support to staff for AV hardware and software solutions.
  • Install and operate a wide range of AV equipment, including IT, projection, presentation, audio and camera equipment.
  • Accurately diagnose, maintain, test and repair AV equipment as required.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of professional integrated audio-visual solutions and related software.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have relevant qualifications to degree level or above and/or equivalent industry experience and certification. You will have significant experience of working in a busy customer-facing role, providing technical support for professional AV hardware and software solutions. You will also have a strong working knowledge of common switching, distribution, audio and video solutions.
