Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Control Process Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience of quality management systems and inspections within a precision machining environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing effective quality control processes.
  • Administering and continually improving the Quality Management System.
  • Ensuring customer, supplier, and internal quality are at the forefront of all production by the company.
  • Overseeing all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.
  • Keeping accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis.
  • Implementing 5S, 6S, and any other relevant Kaizen principles.
  • Customer, supplier, and internal quality liaison.
  • Training personnel in quality best practice.
  • Managing the Measurement and Inspection process, including decisions on employee competence and equipment availability.

Benefits and Salary

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

As part of a small local team, it may be necessary to occasionally cover for all aspects of the Quality function for holidays, illness, and general absence.
